Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth the guidelines for the acceptable use of Inspire Internet’s broadband and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to Inspire Internet’s Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this AUP is to protect the integrity, reliability, and security of Inspire Internet’s network and to promote responsible use of the Services by our customers.

2. Prohibited Uses

Customers may not use the Services for any unlawful or abusive purposes, including but not limited to:
• Illegal Activities – Using the Services to violate any applicable law, regulation, or intellectual property rights.
• Network Abuse – Engaging in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized access to any system, network, or account.
• Malicious Content – Hosting, distributing, or transmitting viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
• Harassment – Using the Services to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse individuals or organizations.
• Fraud & Misrepresentation – Using the Services for fraudulent schemes, phishing, or deceptive communications.

3. Fair Use & Network Management

• Customers must not use the Services in a way that adversely affects Inspire Internet’s network or other customers’ ability to use the Services.
• Excessive or sustained bandwidth consumption that disrupts overall network performance may be managed or restricted.
• Inspire Internet reserves the right to employ reasonable network management practices to ensure quality of service.

4. Content Responsibility

• Customers are solely responsible for all content transmitted, published, or accessed through the Services.
• Inspire Internet is not liable for third-party content accessed via its network.
• Hosting or distributing obscene, abusive, or unlawful content is strictly prohibited.

5. Email & Messaging Restrictions

• Customers must not send unsolicited bulk email (“spam”) or use the Services to facilitate spam.
• The use of forged headers, deceptive addressing, or other fraudulent methods is prohibited.
• Inspire Internet may restrict or block email traffic that violates this policy.

6. Security

• Customers are responsible for the security of their own systems, devices, and accounts.
• Customers must not attempt to circumvent, probe, or interfere with Inspire Internet’s security measures.
• Customers must immediately report any suspected security breach or unauthorized use of the Services.

7. Enforcement

• Inspire Internet reserves the right to investigate violations of this AUP.
• If a violation is determined, Inspire Internet may take any action deemed appropriate, including but not limited to:
• Issuing a warning;
• Temporarily suspending Services;
• Terminating Services;
• Reporting violations to law enforcement authorities.
• Inspire Internet is not liable for any damages resulting from enforcement actions taken under this AUP.

8. Revisions & Updates

• Inspire Internet may modify this AUP at any time without prior notice.
• The most current version of the AUP will be posted at https://www.myinspire.net.
• Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
